Bluetooth Code Location

Can anyone post a picture of where the bluetooth code is on the E86? I had the carpets in the boot up to find the module at the weekend, with no joy.

Any pics greatly appreciated, will save me a trip to the stealers

Stealer did mine for free as I promised that I would service my car at that garrage!! Worth a try

Same here, managed to blag mine off the stealers for free while in for some other work!

It is mounted on the left side right behind the seat (looking into the boot).

Ah ok, so is the bulkhead carpet that needs to be lifted? That might explain a lot

As a first owner, I know you get the card in your book. Mine is just a card which is in the manual folder.

Why is this system so utterly s**t?

My Volvo (with IO Play 2) simply recognises any phone with Bluetooth activitated and asks if you want to synch it. No codes, no buggering about pushing this button eight times within 3.2 seconds while standing on one leg and disembowelling an albino chicken with a solid silver potato ricer.

I got a new phone 6 months ago and I still haven't bothered to synch it it is such a palaver.

Same as that. Should be a separate laminated card in the wallet if the previous owners have kept hold of it.

Yes, why they couldn't put the sticker somewhere easier to locate, lord only knows.

All comes apart easy enough, when I installed my intravee there were some great instruction on here for a coupe carpet removal.

Pm me if any problems and will try to help. After intravee and boot leak from the vents I have become a dab hand with taking it all apart

I believe you can request it using an ibus interface?
I assume if you have some other software you can but there is a signal you can send via the ibus that can read it.
