Hi all, seems I have Bluetooth for phone calls only. Do I need, or can I buy a mulf(2)? Bluetooth box to add music capability? If so, any coding involved and will I need additional
Cables?

Currently using a Bluetooth adapter but I’d rather have full Bluetooth capability

Cheers

J

The box is referred to as ULF-SBX-H..

I'm just going the other way and stripping out some of snap in media stuff..its very complex..good luck..

AnnubisZed is your man..not sure anyone else has ventured that far here in the UK with an E89..

Thanks B21, yes I’d ask Dave directly. It think it’s useful to have this information shared in a thread. I can pick up the unit for sub £50 so on face value seems worth it. However, then cable too ??? So want to start this eyes open. I’ve just installed the software on a laptop so coding shouldn’t be an issue, just getting the right parts.

yes

Combo box? What’s the part number for that Dave? And cables? Assume the software I’ve loaded will cover me for Coding?

I've attached photos of my Combox.

This is an excellent source of info on the retrofit (until I get around to sorting my video)... https://www.spoolstreet.com/threads/combox-retrofit-guide.2159/

:) :D Well, after following Dave’s link and reading the instructions and weighing up the effort, I think Mr 12 volts mmi upgrade offers more features for less effort
