Bluetooth audio while phone in cradle?

Hi all,

First post an' all

Just put a deposit down and was wondering whether any of you could help with a question about the audio system.

I don't have the iDrive screen but have ordered advanced Bluetooth.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have (any) audio device connected over Bluetooth for music streaming at the same time as having an iPhone connected to the cradle for taking calls?

Ok, I guess it's possible there aren't too many people doing, or thinking of doing this so, in a related vein.

Do you get the same iPhone functionality with an ordinary Apple USB cable as you would with the cradle (without the inductive aerial connection)? If so, I guess I can test whether this will work for me.

Hi,

I have two phones in my car: An Iphone in a "Media" snap in and a HTC One only linked via BT. The Iphone sends phone calls ("primary telephone") via BT, Music via cable. The HTC One is configured as "secondary telephone" for incoming calls and also sends Music via BT (ADP profile, afaik - I am using Spotify). Both phones are working like a charm.

However, I am not sure what's really necessary for this result. At least a "Combox" and the music interface with smartphone link will be required for ADP, I think. Here my setup, as far as related to USB/BT/Music:
