Bluetooth audio interface - E85 install

Dragging up and old thread because I've just bought a 2008 Z4 and I'm keen to buy this: Bluetooth audio interface

Disclosure - I am awful with any practical so please don't take the piss!

I can see from the image above and the product image that there are two connections for this Bluemusic device.

Once I connect it to where the 6 CD changer should be, does the device just appear as a Bluetooth device when I look it up on my phone?

And then I can just play Spotify if I select Aux?
I have today fitted this very device, also from Amazon. Once plugged you will be able to pair your phone to the device called 'Bluemusic' - its as simple as that. I have to set my car radio to CD Changer Mode, and Bob's your dad's brother (or your mum's brother, of course).
I tucked the wiring and dongle up behind the bulkhead flooring in the boot.
Dead simple.

Nice, gcsa! Would you mind taking a nice clear photo or even better a video of the connection in the boot?

Best I can do in the pouring rain I'm afraid. The whole lot is tucked back up behind the bulkhead carpeting out of the way. There is an access cavity behind the upright carpeting which leads in to the back of the centre console between the seats - if you loosen and pull up that carpeting you will find the two CD Changer connectors somewhere in that cavity. Once I've used the adaptor for a while and am happy its all working fine I will most likely pop the lot into that cavity.

Just had a good root around and finally found the two cables. Ordered the bluetooth unit so should be up and running next Wednesday! Thanks.

Bit of an update after a few days using the adaptor, Im pleased with it. No issues with bluetooth conecting to my phone automatically when I start the car, and good old Spotify contues where it left off last time it was connected. Track skip forward and back on the head unit also works, however the pause button doesn't, but I can live with that.

I've been using the same adapter for over 4 years now. As far as pause goes, if you simply turn the radio off using the volume knob, audio will pause, and when radio is turned on again, audio automatically continues playing again.

Yes that was the next thing I tried today while waiting in a queue of traffic actually, and you are of course correct.
