Bluetooth audio interface - E85 install

Seems to be plenty of recommendations on here for this device so I've ordered one from Amazon but can't find any installation videos or photo's.

Sounds like a simple plug and play job but keen to hear from anyone who has fitted one in their facelift E85.

If you have a facelift car you should have the aux in, so why bother with the above?
I thought that but don't appear to have one - where should it be?

Not sure for the facelift but for me using the aux in was OK but I had no control over the music tracks. Plus I had to switch on the bluetooth unit every time & then recharge it. With this bluetooth adapter I can skip tracks etc. which makes it much more user friendly. Also it automatically starts playing from my phone when I start up the car. No recharging at all & really simple enough to fit too. The 2 plugs were accessed by lifting the rear bulkhead carpet in the boot. Plugged it in & secured it in the small cubby where the cd Changer used to be. Job done  .

Looks like you were wrong - not a standard feature on the facelift

Great  . I'm really chuffed with mine, such a simple solution too. Be interested to hear your opinion once you've got it.

Show me the listing as an official optional extra...
That's what I'm saying there isn't one - from your earlier respone I assumed you were suggesting all facelift models have the aux in

Is there a mic for this? Thanks

No it's pretty much for music streaming only.

Did a quick dig and the same seller does one on eBay with the mic 👍

Just bought one.

Good price too  . Hope the lead is long enough for the mic. Guess you'll go along the centre console to the dashboard somewhere?
