Bluetooth again......sorry, I searched, and searched

Hi There,

A jolly good day to you all. Thanks for your intent to help me out; even if you don't know the answers, thanks anyway!

I have these very simple questions that I just can't seem to get answers on (my searching skills might match my driving skills :) ):

- I have a "phone key" on my Z4 (2004) steering wheel. Does this mean the car prepared for Bluetooth, or do all Z4's have this feature?
- If I press the button, trust me I tried everything, the radio doesn't say anything indicating it will pair with Bluetooth. So, does this indicate no Bluetooth?
- When I press the SOS button, or maintenance button, I do get BMW assist ( :thumbsup: very friendly people BTW), so how does that work if I don't have phone prep?

I'm assuming you dont have Nav then to see if it's on the menu.

Try the pairing technique and see if it becomes active! You should also have a code given to you, or you can lift the rear carpet to see what's there.
