Blue or Grey E85 Z4 3.0i wanted!

Hi all - reposting again after seller pulling out

I am finally in a position to buy Z4 of my own, and am looking for a pre-facelift E85 (2003-2006) 3.0i manual convertible (open to a 3.0si convertible as well, but would prefer the 3.0i).

I am looking for any of the blue colours (monaco blue, midnight blue metallic, toledo blue, maldives blue, montego blue) or grey, up to around 100k miles (service history helpful also) with a rough budget of £4500.

Any suggestions or connections to cars for sale would be much appreciated!

Mines still for sale, great spec and very well maintained, more miles than you have stated but it's had all the major bits done and drives great. Under budget too ;-)

Hi.

I have owned a 3.0i 2003 Toledo blue convertible for many years, it is an M sport upgrade so has 18" wheels with 255-35 tyres on the rear. All tyres are Vredestein Ultras and have plenty of tread. My wife wants us to get an E89, so it sadly has to go. It has a comprehensive extras list including heated seats, remote hood opening and closing, plus many others. Mechanically, everything has been kept in top order and upgrades like new VANOS seals, full suspension bushes and arms, new bilstein dampers, all fitted within the last 20,000 miles. A BMW specialist garage has completed most of the important work. The car has done 97,000 miles. I have the very rare side hood covers for when the hood is down.
It is an automatic but I have fitted paddle shifts that make the car great fun to drive and you can read the posting of the work on the forum. I have had enquiries on the forum and sent details and pictures to many Z4 owners all over the world on how to do this. If you are interested in the car, I am in West sussex. Barry

Thanks for sharing your beautiful car! Looks like a well-maintained example, but the maximum mileage I would want to go for is around 100k unfortunately...

Hi - thanks for sharing!

A few things:
- Personally, I am not a fan of the aero-kit. As an aero-engineer, I look at it and go 'hmmmm not so sure' Jokes aside, I know it is an aesthetic but not one I am massively keen of (just personal preference! )
- It is far outside of my budget, especially as I would want to source a normal front bumper and remove the rear aero.

Regardless, thank you very much for sharing! (I do hope this doesn't come across as me bashing your very clean car; just a case of personal preference).
