I’ve fitted sumps underneath the bonnet with small drains . It all allows the bonnet carpet to go back ( Just)

The blue calipers look really good, suits the car. I went for a "low key" look but I thing they compliment the car well.

Yeah they do look good. If the blue wasn't my thing i was going to repaint them a similar colour.

I used the paint in the picture attached. Got it from EBay and still a quarter of tin left. I did 2 coats of paint too. I doubt you can do what I’ve done any cheaper…..

I also wanted to get the job done “properly” and had 1 quote from a local paint shop and they wanted £280 or £340 with MSport stickers on. I was semi ok with this until they said the paint job comes with no guarantee at all.

Looks great! I'd quite like to paint my callipers at some point, but can't decide what the right colour would be for an Alpine white Z with Kansas Red seats. Got a feeling Red would be too much red.

I did mine in 2020 with Halfords blue brake caliper paint, It's very very close to 'BMW blue' (they also sell yellow and red)
Currently a 250ml tin costs £10.99 - also available as an aerosol
I stripped the caliper down, prepped and applied 2 coats. Looks great and about 1/4 of tin left

Local bmw independent did my callipers estoril blue with black on the hub and dust guards.

Before and after photos attached.

£50 and I supplied the paint.

I think its a big improvement.
