Blue battery symbol

HiI have a blue battery symbol on the dash just below the temperature gauge on the dash on the M40.
What does this indicate, car drives normally charges etc.
 
I’m sure there’s a much fancier and technical version of this but it’s when the engine isn’t “using” the power and is directing towards charging the battery, only works in comfort or eco iirc
