Afternoon gang,

I'm after a few bits blasting... so many options, vapour, aqua, sand, glass... does anyone work in the industry?
I'm figuring since everyone only has 6 Degrees of Separation, there must be someone on here that does it for a living?!

I'm talking about rusty bits, rear crash bar, front axle knuckles, subframe, that sort of thing.

If not I guess I'll be taking a day off work and attacking with a grinder! :lol:

For what you're doing any of the above would be suitable. Vapour and aqua blasting are less aggressive but usually used when minimising contamination of the surface is important like engine parts.

Glass, grit or metal shot blasting can leave surface contamination and micro pitting, better at removing rust etc and should be fine for your application
