Blacked out grills

decided to black my grills this weekend. easy job, £8 for a can of plastikote. popped straight out although i had to go opposite to the guides and pull top out first rather than bottom.

separated the chrome ring and the slats and painted separately. a few hours drying and popped back in!

You need to take the bumper off to get the bottom grille out. It is held on by clips all the way round that you can only detach from inside.
