BlackBerry PlayBook

Not sure my own multinational employer's IT team will listen to me, but interested for educational purposes if nothing else, as one of my customers is doing this. Badly, I think :D

You've got my email address Stuart - can you sling me a link or two next week ?

Of course it has flaws, but it's hardly just for "stupid apps that make gun noises or look like emptying beer glasses" :)

LOL you could have fooled me!

I know why people are so defensive about Apple kit; its because they spend a lot of dollars on buying it, only to find it falls short in too many areas, but because they paid through the nose for it and its sartorially 'de rigeur', they carry on defending it.

For example, I have several friends, and I mean several, who had multiple iPhones before they got one that actually worked for more than five minutes....and remember the jolly littleiPod? While people like Creative and iRiver were making flexible and maintainable products whose sound quality blasted iPod out of the water, Apple was whacking you $100 just to change your dead battery...

I could go on, but I won't because it clearly upsets you :poke: :fuelfire:

It's all good mate, if you think I'm defending the iPad so I can justify having "wasted" my money on several iPhones and iPads over the years, feel free :)

The iPad works great for me for both work and play, enough said. For some the Playbook might, others Android devices will be the go. To suggest the iPad is incapable and useless suggests more about your attitude than mine.
