Black wheels

Hi I have some 224 wheels which I want to get painted black . For z4 pheonix yellow. My question is what type of black shade gloss Matt. Also I am in south Essex so any recommendations of a place to take them I would be grateful. Thanks

Satin black looks lovely. Mr Wilks was selling some a couple of years ago and posted some pics. You'll find them with a search. Looked really nice

I have gloss black MV3s on my Zed. I think you need that sparkle/bling that you get from the gloss finish....it looks great when they catch the light as you drive along. I keep mine looking good with Poorboys Blackhole and Wheel Sealant.

Matt or satin black look dirty and don't give enough definition in my opinion.

I take all my alloys to city powder coaters I Birmingham £20 per wheel they done loads of sets for me but maybe too far for you

why not get a can of plastidip from Halfords it sprays on without running and leaves prefect finish if you don't like it can be peeled off when dry cost £10 worth having a go yourself. Just let the tyre down mask edge or stick some business cards around rim what a lot do and paint

Very much Andy, as a daily driver the Z4C was brilliant.

I was going to vote for matt black but seeing the above shots, gloss looks even better and will be easier to keep clean/looking good.
