Black wheels on a black Z4C. Yes or No?

So my black Z4C currently had black wheels but I'm not 100% sure if I should go for silver. What's the forum opinion?

My current setup, yes it's being cleaned at the moment!

With black alloys you just lose all the lovely details of the design so I agree with Doddsy that it's a no on any car.

Contrast is king, gives more to look at and enjoy.

Depends whether you want to go for the murdered out gangster look or not.

I would go with a shadow chrome colour, rather than black, on a black car.

Another no vote from me. As others have said, so much wheel detail is lost and I don't think having car/wheel colour the same works for a lot of colours, black especially. I love the contrast of silver on black, so that would get my vote.

Its a no from me. I'm soon to have my black style 32s refurb'd in silver. I've had my black alloy phase but now prefer that classic silver look.

Yes - BUT.... ONLY if it's Matt Black, then you don't loose the details of the wheel, otherwise, very dark anthracite looks cool too...

Bucking the trend I say yay...especially if you get the side reflectors and front fog lights done. That said, I had a black 1er coupe and always had silver. Guess I wasn't 'Gangsta' enough.

Can I ask what you did to get rid of the side reflectors? Do you have to fill in the gap?

My anthracite wheels are as dark as I’d go on a black car. Black on black only looks good on heavily modified and/or bigger cars IMO

I just don't like black wheels - you can't really see what style they are!

Anthracite or shadow chrome would be much better IMHO.
