I wasn't really trying to do matt black but it was only to give you an idea of them black. Only have paint at work.

Every car I see black on black on is completely lost until you get very close then the black looses the detail in the wheels. Not a huge fan

That's it you've hit the nail on the head i couldn't see it before but the wheels would look like black holes from a distance

Or like your wheel trims have been nicked.

Just shows how it changes the whole look of the car
Now this works

I have a set of black wheels MV2 wheels that I'm going to put on my Ruby Black car, and, as I have Imola Red upholstery, I will probably put a red line on the rims (as in red car photo) just 'kick' the wheels out a little. Only going to use them in the Summer and keep the silver's for the WInter. This mock-up uses the wheels 'nicked' from the above pic. and was done in a hurry so please excuse strange angle of rear wheel.

Although my car looks nice and clean in the photo's; having black wheels is a real bitch! Any chips or kerbing and it will instantly show the alloy beneath. Waterdrops leave limescale marks and once black get dirty it instantly goes matt and looks a bit tosh! They look nice when clean but I wouldn't have black wheels again.

Nothing really looks better than a nice clean set of silver alloys!!! Just my thoughts as I've owned black wheels for a while now!

Check out this web site - You can configure a car to match your's and with a bunch of wheel styles and colors. Even if you're not interested in TSW wheels it helps to choose a style and color.
