I hope someone can help with this.
My OH has a 56 plate R56 Mini Cooper (great car btw) but nearing 10 years old the original Blaster style alloys are looking decidedly 2nd hand!
One or two need a little tidying up due to scuffs, and as they are all showing signs of lifting lacquer she would like to have them finished in black (her car is Red with Black roof and bonnet stripes).
Would I be right in thinking plasti-coat would be the best finish?
If so, does that require tyres to be removed for a good finish?
Does it survive the best efforts of "tyre monkeys"?
And lastly can anyone recommend anyone in the Runcorn area who can do what is needed, or can give some alternative/better recommendations?
