Well after much umming and arhhhhing I've decided i need to let this go!! I've had it for years and travelled to london town centre to collect, its immaculate, the headlinig and internals have a lovely new fresh smell when on the car and its never seen a smoker thats for sure, the little accessories are still attached with little plastic toggles from factory, this is a factory BSM top, it does have some small marks due to the sheer side of the thing and way they are removed and stored it and the car sadly do get some small knocks, but its easily in the immaculate range, comes with the manual in its original packaging, a cover, a hang on the wall cover , the BMW stand which fits in the z4 trunk, the locking key, the side covers... i am gutted to be selling this but as the car just doesnt get used in the bad weather its just sitting in my house going unused, for the daily z4 this is a MUST, not only does it REALLY change the looks into something super cool, it totally changes the car into a coupe, the refinement levels change dramatically, i bloody love this piece , i love the construction of the HT and I'm pretty certain i wont be finding another in this condition. I've been wanting selling for a while but haven't been able to let it go as I've wanted to keep all the of of accessories with the car i plan to keep ( even with some awesome offers thanks marlon) . Protect your roof motor in the winter, protect your soft top in general. Uber desirable in this colour as it works with ANY colour car. The HT will also be supplied with a new BSM touchup pen. Only selling due to my cars dry weather use.

I can recommend a black sapphire metallic hardtop - you can see from the pics it transforms the look of the car for those wet winter months. Very rare to find an original BSM with all the accessories for sale.

item is located in sutton coldfield, will also spend the time to adjust it perfectly for the new owner too... which is a PITA btw.. lol

will be very sad to see this go but currently about to buy 3.5k specilizd stump jumper carbon bike... my fitness is a massive part of my life so its easy to sell this and add towards the bike, which i see as an investment into my health. if it wasn't for the bike upgrade id keep this. If the bike falls through as the deal ends within 2 weeks i will remove this for sale and keep.

Can you let me know how to adjust it? - didn't get a manual with mine (PM me if you like, I don't want to hijack this FS thread)
 
set the top on the car as normal , remove the side covers, theirs lock nut on the inside..... release the lock nut and theirs a height adjuster on each side , your aiming for 5mm gap on the rear fenders and the HT lip , any closer and you risk it rubbing on the car. it took my hours and i mean hours to perfect this to the point of perfect fitting and zero wind noise, at one point i nearly gave up and sold the top as i just couldnt get it to sit right on the car... the next day when the frustration had gone it all clicked into place and went well... if you do a search on this forum theirs a detailed guide on it, when i get home ill link it up in this post... don't worry about talking HT in here!! its all relevant.

Good stuff will always sell quickly - HTs like this don't appear often (if ever) now, I'd have had it off you if I had a need but I'm in the same situation as you in that the car never (knowingly) sees rain... :lol:

yeah just literally sat in my dining room collecting dust....

btw met MR Z showed him round the z4 and he seemed to love her, he definitely felt my passion. He's a top guy, very very nice to talk to and we enjoyed talking crap for a good while!!

you got a great deal!!! well done!! thats easily sellable for more when you come to sell!! rare in that condition now especially with the bmw accessories !! enjoy mate!
