Outside of normal servicing, I've been sure to keep on top of changing suspension components as mileage increased and parts begin to wear. Most recently the High pressure fuel pump has also been replaced, these are notorious for failing on these N54 engines so a new pump with warranty should provide peace of mind, detailed as follows:
01/20 - High pressure fuel pump replaced. (Complete with 3 year warranty)
10/19 - All four shock absorbers, springs, top mounts and spring mounting pads.
10/19 - Front drop links replaced.
11/18 - BMW Electrical recall carried out.
11/18 - All four brake discs/pads replaced - front calipers replaced with BMW M4 calipers and 370mm discs.
11/18 - Wheels/tyres replaced with new 437M Style alloy wheels.
08/18 - Front control arms/tension arms replaced. Replaced with new E92 M3 parts.
08/18 - Front bumper resprayed and replaced with M Sport bumper.

All parts have been replaced with either genuine BMW components or from an OE supplier such as TRW or Sachs where available. I do have a print off containing diagrams/part numbers for everything that's been replaced for ease of maintenance going forward (brakes in particular).

Also during my ownership, the following servicing has been carried out by my own company:
01/18 - Oil/filters service including 6X new spark plugs, 6X new ignition coils.
01/19 - Oil/filters service.
09/19 - Oil/filters service.
Prior to this there's details of invoices from previous owners back to early 2014, between new and 2014, it's the usual stamps in the service book.

In addition to that already mentioned, the car's had a newly trimmed steering wheel from which as can be seen in the photo's is still in excellent condition. The headlining has also been re-trimmed in Alcantara. The interior as a whole is in excellent condition and shows very few signs of wear.
In early 2018, the car was also remapped by Evolve Automotive to 360bhp and 400lbft of torque. Evolve themselves have a very good reputation for tuning BMW's and they've always been very helpful when I've been in contact. Needless to say, there's been absolutely no issues whatsoever and the extra power really brings the car to life.

Should you wish to take a look at it I'm based on the Devon/Cornwall border. I do have a car lift where the car is kept so will be happy to show anyone around underneath as well.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or for more photos as I wouldn't want anyone to travel a long distance not to find what they wanted! Thank you for looking.

Price dropped to £8,000 for the forum.

Remapped 35 with a manual box :driving: best combo there is for enjoying these cars plus lots of other choice upgrades too .
I suspect this will take some replacing without adding significant money , worth trying out your intended replacement first , i know my own 35i 6spd was a Z i sold too early :(
Best of luck whatever happens

Speaking to Sam in PM’s he comes across as a thorough gent, his attention to detail plus no cut corners on this car make it a steal imho.

Best of luck Sam.

Many thanks to you both!

Back up for sale after some thought. As good as this car is, I would like to get into a V8 while still relatively practical :D

Great looking car, good luck with your sale.
Think you may need to revise your listing though

Good point! Fumbling fingers strikes again!
Thanks for the heads up sir

I can’t believe this hasn’t sold at this price, if It was me I would be upping the price & putting it on eBay.

Well this year certainly doesn't give up in terms of throwing curve balls!
Having had this one virtually sold earlier this year and someone ready to collect it, a slight interlude in the form of a pandemic landed and unfortunately my friend had to change plans as his circumstances changed.

I therefore figured I'd keep it for a couple more years so completed a few modifications to improve interior quality with some extra Alcantara and steel start/stop button. Now however I've been presented with an opportunity to move into an Audi R8 so once again, plans have changed and it's back up for sale. I'd love to keep it but two relatively impractical, two seat cars is a hard one to justify, even to myself!
I've dropped the price to £8,000 for the forum, I'm quite keen to get cars changed sooner rather than later so feel free to send an offer my way, you might be surprised

Details for the Alcantara and starter button can be found below, otherwise it's as advertised before albeit with updated mileage:

Lot of motor for the money Mileage may deter but still sounds a good deal to me

What a great price and you've ticked all the gotchas..pity I've spent so much time and money on mine..at that price i may have bought it and got it resprayed Atacama Yellow..

A new owner should get a very well sorted car!
