Congratulations

A strange feeling watching your Zed being driven away by someone else. I had that feeling a few weeks ago

And a new forum member so the car stays on here

So I am the new owner of the car and a new forum member - and yes, very happy with it too! Got home with a big smile on my face despite the rain! Many thanks to Garrie for such an honest and open discussion about the car and for sharing his knowledge of the marque.

Having had classic Triumph TRs for years, which I miss driving but don't miss being frozen in, it's great to drive a modern classic (I did have a Porsche 944 2.7 coupe for a while which I thoroughly regret selling...).

Enjoying trawling through the forum - lots of very useful info.

Will post some pictures of the car when I next out an about somewhere interesting.

Cheers
John

Hello John,

Welcome to the forum - you have bought a cracking car there, get those pics up quickly in a newbie thread

Hi and welcome to the forum John.

It looks like you got a great Z4 there.

Some similarities to TRs - sitting just ahead of the rear wheels, manual gearbox and RWD! Plus in the case of TR5s/6s a fuel injected straight 6 up front.

And it looks like the weather is improving too, so just enjoy. :driving:

Then maybe start a Newbies thread with photos as we do like photos on here!
