Black roof wrap - fitted today! (with pics)

All right, I'm having mine done on Wednesday, a bit in the RidgyRidge style. It will be a gloss black roof wrap + limo tint rear window + half-tinted rear quarters. The whole package - about 250 pounds in English money, so quite a good price (the guys do Cayennes and matte black Ferraris, I steered clear of cheapo places). Photos will follow.
 
Just been quoted £250 for a gloss black roof wrap (UPG Aylseford). Seems a bit steep, especially as I will also be getting the rear window and quarters tinted (a more reasonable £160!).

Anybody know of a decent company Sussex/Kent?
 
There is a firm called RTS Creative in Maidstone, guy who owns it used to park opposite my house to visit his dad and the promo cars look really good. I once mentioned that I was interested in matt black for my zed and as I recall about £800 was suggested, so prices seem good.

That does seem steep, from my research quotes were anywhere between £80 and £200 for a "roof" - and that's just gathered from other car forums. Considering that the zed roof is tiny, and doesn't even have any fiddly luggage rack mounts / runners to remove prior to wrapping, then it should be at the cheaper end.

Thanks Hype, and for the others. As I suspected, it doesn't really work with the IL blue, think I'll leave it as is!

ditto. mine is cabon black and i don.t think any roof wrap would match

Looks excellent almost like a roadster 'T bar' modification.
Maybe as homage to the Mexico rally escorts you could go the whole hog and get your bonnet done as well. :roll:
