Black roof wrap - fitted today! (with pics)

lol,mines sterling grey at the mo but thinking... bright Artic white...iv got a huge Akita..il take him with me. :thumbsup:

Love the way on the coupe a black roof appears to run all the way down the back into the glass.

Looks much better than the matt finish and as already said, if you get the rear window tinted slightly it will really flow.

I was always a fan of the glossy roofs I've seen on other's cars (Ridgy Didgy?) - much prefer that over carbon or matt black.
 
Very nice indeed. :thumbsup: Makes me think about doing it with my AW coupe with a tint rear window. The window and roof should blend in quite well.
 
Looks great.

I was trying to work out why it works so well. (I'm obsessed with themed mods.)

My feeling is that it's the complimenting mods of black grille and dark wheels that carry it off. Done alone, I'm not sure it would work so well.

Funny you should say that, it was this picture that finally persuaded me, found it on pistonheads. I think it still works nicely with the oem alloy colour, although mine looks even better of course! :P

I think it works so well because of that big black rear window surround, it's crying out to be extended over the roof IMO...

I also like RidgyDidge's coupe - the roof does combine with the rear window.

I fear, though, that the heavy front side window tint would be illegal here in the EU.

Anyone have a photo of this on an IL Blue coupe? Or can someone photoshop one for me please? I'm just not sure it would work so well on such a dark car...
