I'm going with turbo being short for turbocharged![]()
Maybe I should put another one on the other side of the BMW roundel...

If you have a DCT then xHP is recommended…
The clutch will be the limiting issue on a manual…

Updated to v10 today, no chance to drive it yet though. Turned antilag on as well... I'll never use it but its fun to say I have it![]()
Does XHP just speed up the changes, or are there other benefits?

I don’t use anti lag it’s not very good for the engine..
Altering the throttle response makes it feel a bit snappier..
If you use MHD at stage 2 you really should have xHP set at stage 2 as that increases line pressure on the clutches to avoid slip that the substantial :extra torque throws at the box …

I know you’ve asked Peter. But…tiglon said:Does XHP just speed up the changes, or are there other benefits?

I have MHD Stage 1 OTS map and a bespoke xHP map by R.E92. The downshifts are much faster with xHP compared with stock. I’ve also learnt that keeping the throttle partially open whilst downshifting improves rev-matching significantly. Left foot braking and the aux pedal helps with that manoeuvre.

Thanks, appreciate any info. It is very tempting to go with XHP, but I think at the moment it'll be more worthwhile putting those funds towards Birds damping setup or Quaife LSD.
