Black or Red leather

Hey guys,

I potentially have the chance for a seat swap, my standard black in outstanding condition for standard red seats including door cards (depending on condition).

I can't make my mind up what looks better on a silver grey roadster.

What do you reckon?

I have red in my black zed and contrast is really good. Seen grey ones with red seats and does look good.

Black against grey is a good combo imo plus in general black is a easier sell when the time comes
Unless you are desperate for a colour change id hang back for a set of sport seats

Would love a pair of sport seats but not sure I can justify the £600 cost to the missus. Unless you'd like to swap Andy??

Add another £150 to that :!:

...in red! To my mind black leather makes most interiors look quite dull. Red lightens it up, gives a nice contrast and is sporty, just like the Z4. Nobody has taken offence to mine yet.

I would go with Mr. wilks

Hello mate,

I was originally looking for a black or grey roadster with red interior myself. I think red looks great in these cars. However the condition of the car I found was way above the ones in right color combination. Hence I chose better condition car over a lesser one with the right colors for me. You seem to have a very similar situation.

Like mine you have seats in excellent condition. I wouldn't swap quality for style myself and wouldn't reccomend it to you either. The pictures of seats you shared doesn't look like great condition to me. I wouldn't really force this, but rahter be mindful of the market and wait for the right opportunity if it arises. You may be able to swap them with the ones from a car on sale for a minimal fee.
