someone do this for me and let me know how it goes?

I'm sure someone on here already did, painted it up. Looks marvellous. Photos were in his bathroom etc.

I'm sure someone with some search skills/memory will be able to find it.

Nearly, that was red to red. Pawnsacrifice is who you are thinking of.

I have tested on a black shoe with red and worked fine.

Search for imola shoe.

That's amazing. Would actually consider this if I was confident I'd get a factory like finish and durability.

The wife has a black leather coat i'd be tempted to try it on!

Wonder if it's the same method a pro would use if you took your seats for re colouring.
Don't they use some sort of clear top coat?

I repainted my old Jeep leather seats... just the same colour mind you, it's pretty easy to do and looks/lasts well.

I got my kit from a place called the furniture clinic.

Yes, modern leather has a base, colour and clear coat to them - hence why all these leather "conditioners" are a complete waste of time for mordern cars...

if they are leather at all, and not pleather that a lot of cars now seem to use...

I know I hate the plastic seats. Vauxhall seem to like using it on their 'half leather' interiors :/
Don't think I'll bother trying it. Don't fancy ruining the M seats or getting a sub standard finish. Is quite tempting though.

A word of caution - although I've seen good recolouring jobs, I've seen far more terrible jobs. It is very easy to make it look like a great job in a tiny photo or video online, but it is very difficult (if not impossible) to get an OEM finish unless you are very good at it. My own interior was testament to this - it looked great in the sales photos, but looked like utter dog s**t in the flesh.

Here are a couple of pictures of mine, I was trying to get rid of the side wear, plus some strange stains!

See that looks better, but it's shiney, was it supposed to be? I love the matt finish new automotive leather carries, so if I were to try it I'd be very disappointed if it was shiney.

That picture is about 2 minutes after I finished putting on the final coat of clear, so it's still wet, but I did opt for the matt finish..

Here is the seat finished and back in the Jeep:

Sort of wish I'd kept the non sport seats I let go for £71 now! I could have tested this and come back with proper results and even wear tested them

I wanted to replace the chairs for a new look and was looking for new color but couldn't invest much so i got some used chairs from online portal and happy they are looking good. Check that portal at http://officefurniture4sale.com .
