Black leather, electric memory seats (pre-facelift)

There is a retrofit kit available but that means you need to take the seats apart to fit the heated panels. It can be done but is fairly involved from what I understand.

thanks for that, guessed it would be like that.I'll stick with the manuals,as I am the only one driving it anyway 8)

good luck with the sale though.

The pics are no longer available to view M8.
Not that I am looking to buy mind you, just thought I should let you Know

I see that you're putting them on ebay. Don't get excited, I don't need them.

Are you aware though that anyone with manual seats can simply swap their squab and backs onto your bases and hey presto electric memory seats. All they need is to add the loom on later pre facelifts. If theirs are say manual and heated then all that's needed just swaps over in minutes.

Just a thought as the parts alone for the bases make them worth a lot more than £100, or if I had a black interir I'd give you that just for good condition leathers.

Good luck

interesting,as mine are heated but manual.

any more info on this cj?guides/how to's?

I did a write up when I converted mine from black memory, heated standard to red leather, sport, heated, memory.

Not difficult and I could talk you through it easy enough.

Not sure about loom requirements which would need figuring, but as you have heated you have the heavy wiring in place. Migh tjust need a feed to ensure they can be programmed to work on the key fob and then dealer coding for that function, else just press the seat button memory.

any link to your write-up?although I don't move the seat and I am the main driver,it's nice to have both electric and heated.

Cj,

One more thing, what about the airbag sensor on passenger seat?as I have seen loads of posts about it! Have to say just got home and haven't had a look at your link yet :)
