Black kidkey grilles on silver pre facelift E85 3.0i

I don't know why but I don't like the chrome grilles on silver Zeds.

Has anyone on here ever fitted black grilles on a silver E85? If so how did it look?

I know... I think a lot of people would like the black as standard... I know that was one of the first things I have done on all my cars... I think it makes the front of the Z4 look a little meaner :evil:

I have a carbon black zed and think that dechroming is the way to go for my first mod. My question is Matt or shiny? Any pictures?

Personally I put black grills on mine for about 10mins and then decided the chrome/silver looks better

I might be like this as well. I think the black dechromed edge looks meaner though although I thought I would have CSL by now but like the original wheels and the ride on 18's after running for a while and am frightened of a harsh ride on 19's.

Anyway I divert. Matt or shiny? I will need to buy and try to scratch the itch.

Here you go... Just about every combination on silver zeds in one picture
Silver grills, black with chrome surround and black with black surrounds, but you may have to zoom in a bit, sorry !
