thinking of changing to black grills on my zed but not sure if its a good combination with sterling grey, and at £55 its a bit costly if it dosent look right. Dont want to go down the paint the originals route as i prefere to keep the originals to put back if i sell, also have seen some on ebay and mstyle has anyone got them from either source. any thoughts as to how it would look i have seen a couple of pics but not seen one in the flesh ?

Where do you stay? You could always try and meet up with someone local to you and swap them over to see what you think. They're very easy to swap over.

I'v been thinking of changing to all black grills on my silver zed but unsure of how they will look. I have always been into chrome and shiny bits on my cars for years but fancy a change to silver car with black bits, ie wheels, grills, carbon badges.

Anyone with pics of this combination would be greatly appreciated.

Oh sorry for the thread hijack

photoplop it mate - might save you a bit :D

(or drive up to blandford, mid dorset sometime and try mine  )

or failing that do a search for grills on here you'll find loads of pics of when people change theirs, and there is bound to be some

I've got all black but they do seem to divide opinion.

I have done the kidney grills black on my last 2 stirling grey BMW's, just did the kidney grill lip though, sprayed with a rattle can, much cheaper.
