Black Grille on

Fitted the black grille the other weekend after having the front bumper back from a respray.

Think its a big improvement on the standard look. Although female opinion seems to think otherwise!!!

I'm kind of with the ladies. :o
Mine is sterling grey and i put the chrome grille on it, looks way different but i think chrome stands out more and black blends in. (but both better then OEM)

My grill is all bacl and I love it, but IMO both those look wrong, I think the OEM look looks best on those colours.
 
you should also fit the black headlights with white indicators, that will make the look complete.
with the standard headlights I would prefer the standard 3.0i grille.
 
I really didn't like the OEM grille and have a dislike for chrome.

But hey its all opinions and this does it for me!

I do like the black grille, I just meant it could look even better with these headlights 8)

unfortunatly not as cheap as a replacement grille :(
 
I think the grille needs to be coordinated with the headlight lining colour: chrome headlights with chrome/silver grille slats, black headlights with black grille slats. And the black grille surround only if you've got the black headlights and grille slats. But that's just me being boring :)
 
the black grille and black headlights does look good. :thumbsup: i think ill be keeping the silver tho, would like to upgrade to clear headlights, but it doesn't annoy me enough to spend the money on it right now.

Funnily enough, Nosa and me were chatting about this last night and both of us have the exact same thought as that - clear headlights would be nice, but they don't annoy us that much to spend the money on them...
 
Yeah I think I'm going to be putting black grills (maybe carbon fiber) on my silver one. After seeing the black headlights, I think I'll go that route as well. Now where is that bank I'll have to rob to afford the headlights. :? :?
 
i am toying with the idea of vinyl wrapping the chrome part of my front grills this evening.. not sure with the silver headlights an all black grill would look the part... i am just bored with my black grills now.. and am tempted to go back to my stock grey ones!
