I decided to see how this would look on my red car and while I was at it I 'sixspeeded' the bottom rail of the spoiler with stickybackplastic!!
Quite like the grills so that will be getting done properly i think. Not sure about the rail, looks quite aggressive though??

Rail looks great too, makes a rare car even more distinctive and characterful.
Think i mentioned this in another post the other day but black wheels would look great with this mod.

Hmm the grills look great, not sure about the front at all, seems to work much better on white - be interesting to see some other colours too. You're not convinced either?sammyz said:
Sticky back plastic from B&Q. Didn't try to make it tidy, just wanted to see the effect.
I'm getting to like the idea it makes the front end very mean and agressive. The black merges well with the grill above it. Could easily been designed to be that way. Now what about the rear rail??? Hmmm

The black grille looks sweet 
i ordered some grille rings in black from Mstyle last week, they came this morning, they fit over the top of the chrome rings, so u just glue and stick! i must admit im pretty scared and have not done it yet! anyone brought these or got them on there car??? i think being all black looks the business

Got to be honest and that looks really good! I think it works really well and breaks up the red very nicely!
I really like the black lower! (but then I would 
). Think it definately makes the car look more aggressive, and I think it gives it a slightly fresher look, since I've noticed several recently launched cars have this same design trend.
I was originally inspired by the Ferrari 360 though, and thought it would look good with the intakes highlighted by the paint colour, and the centre section hidden by the black paint..

I noticed that the new Focus RS has a similar colour scheme at the front.
If I do it (and I probably will ) I need to decide if I'll do the rear. I could just do the small rail or blacken the larger area around it. Will do a few mock up s with sticky back plastic at the weekend then decide.
