Black carbon badges

So I've found a few posts regarding this and the general consensus is to use this guy ([email protected]) as he uses OEM parts & the quality is excellent.

I've emailed him a few times now with no response. All the posts mentioning him seem to be a couple of years old at the latest.

Does anyone know if he has a website or eBay shop or another form of contact? Or If he still does these at all?

If not, does anyone else recommend anywhere to buy good quality carbon badges?

Don't really want to go down the route of buying a 73mm one for the bonnet and cutting it down & I don't want to buy the cheap ones they offer on eBay, as I can't see these lasting long & looking a bit crappy soon after buying them!

Thanks in advance for any help! I've said it before and I'll say it again, this forum is great!!!

This might not be what you're looking for, but worth a mention.

I've always used something like the below so I can swap to another colour / style later down the line.

I read quite some time ago that Ian stopped selling, which is a shame because he did a load of great gear for our cars. I bought my carbon badges from my last car from him back in the day and they were great quality. Sorry I can't help you with another source :(

Idej_jedi how good are these? When u fit them do u literally stick them over your existing badges quadrants? If so does this not look a bit crappy as you can see the original blue and white from an angle I presume?

Just read the thread on your car by the way, looking good!!

I ordered mine 4 weeks ago from eBay coming from Hong Kong. I'm trying to cancel now as they are taking another month to come. I have ordered another set off a guy down south. They arrive early next week, so I may have an extra set next month.

I find them really good. They're cut to the exact size and like you say, fit over the existing badge quadrants. You can't see any of the existing white and blue (although I haven't put any over my white sections, I've just changed the blue to grey).

I started this thread a while ago but it never really took off. You can see loads of examples of people who have used vinyl's for their badges: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=91638&hilit=show+us+your+badges

My second set arrived today. They do the job. Boot badge is a bugger.

Wheel caps look good. Where did you get them?

eBay. Make sure you get from a uk seller or you'll be waiting at least a month on them coming from Hong Kong. 7 badges, front, rear, steering wheel and wheel caps for £19.95.
