Black-Badge Special Edition

Maybe the bloke posting above who appears not to want to hear anything said against the seller AND doesn't want sound advice from anyone on here  is the seller himself ?

You can all advise me though if you will....

Mine is Sterling Grey too. Is it also PEARLESCENT ?

I can hear Jim Royle right now saying "Black Badge Special Edition MY ARSE"

here is my 2p. there is nothing special edition about that car, the advert is certainly 'special' thats for sure !...........i have never seen so much BS in a single car advert, i am suprised he hasnt listed 'wheel bearings' as an option extra, does make comical reading though, i quite enjoyed it.
Agreed. Have seen worse adverts, wouldn't say it's particularly offensive, it's just crap. Some poor mug will probably suck it up though, it's what the seller is counting on.

it bugs the s**t out of me when dealers cannot get specs right in ads, or try and dress the spec up when its standard stuff, it really gets on my tits, and really bugs my nipples !
+ 1 and yes, its special equipment not special edition as biscuit said.
Mildly confused and a little disturbed - it bugs the sh*t out of your nipples and onto your tits? I've heard there are other websites more suited to that mental image...

What a crazy post this is.
Just checked out the guys listings. The Z4 has been relisted and is no longer a "black badge special edition" just a bog std 3.0i.
Not a bad looking car but is it really as quick as a dame?
Impeccable timing! Not a coincidence that it's changed as soon as it's been discovered to have been called out as BS on a forum. Lets see if '240bhp' 'Electronic Suspension' 'Pearlescent Sterling Grey' and 'dame quick' are next to drop, unless of course some quantifiable proof is offered as part of this particular sale. Preferably with a bottle of unicorn tears thrown in.

No no no! Surely no! Just an ever so trusting soul willing to give a bs'ing trader a chance.
Why he hasn't 'bought' it yet is beyond me, it's bargain of the century. It has a 'Full upto date Service History of which has just been done' - I mean, crumbs - the entire service history has just been done?! Must come with a flux capacitor as well.

So as promised in my original posting to this forum after trying to find out a few things about the car in question, me and the wife went looking at the Z4 this morning (Sunday), arrived at the guys house where we was greeted by the gentleman selling it, and his 2 children as he is a single parent and the kids live with him, a very nice down to earth kind of guy, a little eccentric in my mind, very nice white gold and diamond Rolex on his wrist though made my datejust Rolex look quite naff! also a massive Black Hummer H2 with a private plate B SEXY on it, as I was told later to do with his porn film company he has, could not ask to much about it as my wife standing right next to me at the time giving me one of "those" looks that only a wife can give !
also on his drive a beautiful Porsche GT3, (now that's more my kind of car) and that one did look a bit special, with another private plate NIGEL that must be worth a few quid on its own. Had to following him over to his parents house where the Z4 is being garaged, garage opened and inside was a nice private collection of cars and bikes of his fathers, a Bentley Arnage R with private plate KJS something, a 1974 Rolls Royce Corniche Mulliner DHC with only 24,000 miles from new with 1st place trophies and winning cups, ribbons from the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club Annual Rally for best in show over the years I noticed, both of them up right my street and a connection was made between us both as both cars supplied and serviced by friends of mine at P&A Wood where I have bought many cars from over the years, also a sweet little 1955 I think he said MG TF, my wife loved that but like all the cars in there none for sale as his Dad's pride and joy and all being left to the grand children in Will's along with a E-Type, 190SL Merc and a few other older bits as he called them tucked away in dry storage somewhere, then at the back of the garage 3 old classic motor bikes, not my thing so could not say want they were,

He started up the Z4 straight away, no smoke, no blue fumes, no knocks, no rattles etc and took it into day light, must say it did look very nice even if it's not for me for the wife to use at weekends, very clean and tidy, couple of very small scruffs on the passenger door but should buff out very easy, all paper work and service history all present and correct the only part missing was the road tax as he said he does not drive the car only wants to get rid of it as he bought it for his girlfriends 30th birthday in March this year only for her to F**K OFF (his words) back to her ex boyfriend the day before, even his 9 year old daughter told me how upset her father was with that, bless her a real little doll she was. can only think her mum must of been one of his Models.

Asked him about black badge special edition thing etc, he seemed to know very little about such things only that was what he was told when he bought it in London earlier this year for allot more money than he selling it for now only a few months later, sounds like he was ripped off from what you lot tell and say and what he said , but as he said it was the best he saw and bought it.

he did tell me a story about a BMW Z4 Club member from Coventry who got his wife to call him up last week for extra details of the car and asked to him email extra pics, then phoned to tell him that the car was completely dodgy and not worth anything, and that all the info and spec was false, as he said he had no idea about it as its no interest to him but has tried to corrected any info on adverts now to best of his limited knowledge as he put it asking me what he should write. I don't know ? I said

Me or the wife did not drive the car as no Road Tax, and not for me to drive anyway but the wife, not that I think there would a problem as the road his Parents live on is very quiet and private, but don't like to chance it, sods law as one of us got up the road the old bill would be there ! As the car is only 30 mins away from us I was hoping to persuade the wife into a different colour, but she still wants a White one ! drives me mad but hay got us to look over a good example and find a few things out that I would never of know about a car
to conclude with after being there for over an hour and half with coffee and meeting his elderly very deaf frail father and very sweet disabled mother who he looks after every day as well as his 2 kids, and how his mother sat there telling us what a good son his is and that he helps them all the time including he had to sell there every day car's on their behalf as she not allowed to drive anymore, bless her she was like the Nan you always wanted and after meeting the guy in question, I can say he is not a dealer, just a very nice guy from a very warm caring rich family ! Him and his father have a great passion for cars and bikes but between you and me he would not know how to check the oil level, as old father said I have someone that looks after all my cars for me.

So, to all you Forum fans, thanks for your info and advise, even some by private messages all helps allot in our quest, but take a page out of my book, don't judge a book by its cover not everyone is as knowledgably about a Z4 as you as its clearly your life's passion and floats your boat big time.
And if any of you ever get on a Thomson Airways flight from Stansted and see a 6.1" olive skinned long dark haired Cabin Crew member called Sarah-Jo, ask her did she ever buy a Z4 ? that will bug the crap out of her LOL

Well seeing as N1 GEL comes down to a Lambo Diablo VT either he is up to something or you are mistaken?

Was it a fake N1 GEL like N16 EL?

your right im mistaken according the my wife it was N16EL
is that better for you now ??
s**t how anal do you need to be ?

Dont be so aggressive, I asked because I saw N1GEL recently on a Lambo at Goodwood, if it was being used on another car it would indicate something dodgy going on imo.

However you obviously sound like a bit of a cock therefore I hope you do get royally ripped off on your car

Richtea are you one of those ass holes jeremy clarkson goes on about in clubs like this with an adenoid voice ?
seems that way
me on the other hand, not a bit of a cock i'm Alot of Cock ! PML !

Always makes me laugh when people come on here looking for advice then get upset when it is not to their liking, still it's not a good introduction to what is generally a very friendly forum to resort to name calling.
This thread was originally started way back in April when the car was originally advertised as the non existent Black Badge Special Edition and that was the point of it, some trying to sell something that does not exist with non exist parts and standard options listed as extras.
All anyone on here was trying to do was warn you that this was not as it appeared and that the seller may have something to hide, you have met him and you can make your own mind up on that one.
Just because he was potentially ripped off when he bought the car does mean soemone else should be caught out, if anyone comes on here looking for advice they will get it and they may not always like what they are told as has happened in the past.
Anyway there are plently of good Zeds out there for similar money just have a look in the Buy & Sell section, hope you have not been to put off and you get the Z you are looking for.
