Xenons are not standard, they were an option. 
It you have aheadlight levelling dial you do not have xenons as they are height controlled automatically and they are self levelling.
Advert is misleading, has anyone emailed him to say the same and that he appears a bit of a plonker? :telloff: :happyclap:

If you google 01702 587884, 07851185660 or 07775 781010 you can see the cars he's sold/selling, and if you look at his ebay sales you will also see a list of cars he's selling.
Now, to me, anyone who sells a dozen cars in a year is what I'd call a dealer/trader. He might have a side business taking soft-porn photos, but that doesn't mean it's his only business.
BTW, none of the numbers in he's used give any indication of his 'glamour photography' business, which is strange considering you'd think he'd want people to contact him.

Firstly its the bread knife that is after a Z4 for some strange reason, not my idea but hay keep the peace as they say
she has seen this one advertised and we are going this weekend to view eventhough she not to happy with its colour ! dont even ask she wants a white one
like anyone out there looking at cars i did the normal thing and did a google search on the car and "This Forum Topic" can up, wanting to see what it was all about i joined to view and read what had been said otherwise would not be on here
other day i was sent extra pics and details of the car that i request and with that i was able to search his email address and full name
his name comes up every where to do with photography and what i call Porn even with his own website, if was doing that it would not a side business
and now looking over his ebay account no sign of a dozen cars being sold !
infact no cars shown as been sold via his account
he could be just like me a True Petrol head and already on my 3rd car this year, 3 cars for sale does not make him a trader, but even if his? So what ? half of joe public are selling something these days
does not make them a trader or dealer, what about all the people selling rubish at boot sales every week like my ex wife ? she makes a future out of that but people dont slag her off, well apart from me

Come on, no need for the essay - it's obvious the seller is a dealer. Nothing wrong with that, whether it's part or full time, as long as they are upfront about it.
The key problem is with their adverts. Too much blatant BS raises doubts. This is a Z4 forum. The members are enthusiastic about their cars. With that in mind, you might think the members here might be able to 'smell' the BS a bit more than the punter who isn't such an enthusiast.
If the seller is getting slated here, there has to be a reason for it - and if they're full of BS, they deserve to be called out. If I were buying a car, and someone was saying 'be careful, it looks a bit dodge' - I'd appreciate the advice. That's one reason why people look on a forum like this, for advice - this forum has a wealth of good advice, it's not somewhere that particularly prides itself on character assassination.

The biggest problem is the amount of wrong info on this car in the advert. BMW NEVER made a black badge edition edition, if they did then I could claim mine to be one aswell seeing as I have the same Carbon Fibre badges fitted, I got them from Ebay as did several other members, the sport button does nothing to the suspension it reduces the amount of power steering and increases the throttle response a little bit but that's it, the majority of other things he lists were standard equipment in the UK on all Z4s. The wheels have refurbed and the stars painted black do a search on this forum for 108's and you'll see countless others who have done similar things. dont quite understand why a few badges makes a car "abit dodge" ?
Abit Dodge to me is a car thats been wrtitten off and not told so, or stolen and ringed, certainly not the colour of the badges that just seems a little pedantic in my mind
I have no idea if its right or wrong about it being a Special Edition, car seems cheap for what it is at £8600 if he was a dealer then he must of paid peanuts for it to make a profit at the level then good luck to him . i could not live on that amount of small profit plus if he was a dealer reading what you lot write you would think he would know what the correct spec of the car then, i buy myself plenty of cars each year for fun and some for investment i never know the full or correct spec of them,
As for be a Special Edition I know from my car history allot of dealers do their own Special Edition cars and Not the Manufacturers. many years ago I bought a Bentley Brooklands Mulliner R limited Edition this was produced by Bentley and Limited to 100 units, but the one I bought was a special edition of that limited version done by P&A Wood, as Paul Wood ordered 5 Bentley Brooklands Mulliner R Ltd but all in a one off Silver and with no Wing Vents, therefore only 5 out of the 100 limited edition were called a Special Edition

here is my 2p. there is nothing special edition about that car, the advert is certainly 'special' thats for sure !...........i have never seen so much BS in a single car advert, i am suprised he hasnt listed 'wheel bearings' as an option extra, does make comical reading though, i quite enjoyed it.

The car is okay, just a few go faster bits stuck on, the "dealer" obviously is just bigging up the car and if anyone points this out to him I'm sure he'll just come out with something like "these cars, there are too many models to get them right all the time" or something equally b0ll0x
it bugs the s**t out of me when dealers cannot get specs right in ads, or try and dress the spec up when its standard stuff, it really gets on my tits, and really bugs my nipples !
