Are E86 seats a straight swap for E85 seats ?

Should be. Only problem is sometimes with electrics, but seats are manual....

Heard a rumour about the occupancy sensor but never got that confirmed. Will defo (physically) fit, no mods, just may need to code out the occupancy sensor - or stick one of those seat belt buckle things in the passenger side.

Nope. Faster, lighter. Once adjusted, how often do you need to change them? Unless you have multiple drivers, in which case, memory seats would be useful.

Bought these earlier to change my SE for, was looking at fitting recaro cs but god they're expensive even second hand! bit of tlc and these should look very nice, not sure on the dash though, pretty dear.
as for electric to manual, lighter lower and how often do you change your seating position anyway?
