Black 108's ??

I have a silver Z4 with 108's which need a refurb (NO kerbing, just tatty) and wondered wether they would look ok painted all black.
I just fancy a change from the norm. Also thought about changing to all black grills and carbon badges too.

Could anyone please photoshop my wheels and grills to black or have any pics of this done to a silver zed.
I'm also considering a change of wheel too if black 108's dont look the part.

Quick job on PS but top is a satin colour and second image is darker/nearly black. Hope this helps, prefer satin every time personally!

I got rid of mine as keeping them in good condition (especially in winter) seemed like too much effort!!!

Might put them back on in summer though for a change!!
 
just refurbed mine and put them on this morning . all the badges on mine are all black and white too , i am not a big fan of carbon badges .CIMG0601.jpg

thanks half colin , it was yours that inspired me to do mine like this , im not sure whether to paint the clipers and hubs black or silver though .

Wow - never been an inspiration before. I'm going to go with red calipers which I think will make a good contrast with my black wheels and black body. Keeping a simple, 2 colour contrast I think body coloured (silver calipers) on yours would look good and far better than black.

Mmmmm black wheels are growing on me now.

Thanks for the pics and comments chaps but problem is I dont have any wheels to replace mine with while they are being refurbed.

I am considering getting a new set of multispoke wheels in black with a stainlees lip then sell my 108's.

I quite like the look of these.You can choose your own tyre set up.

Thanks wondermike , I'm really pleased with them , wasn't sure how it was all going to look until all the changes I have made were finished and the wheels were the last part and think its all turned out ok . The colour for the stars is Peugeot steel gray and the rim is polished with rim wax on . I also painted the inner rim in a dark silver colour .
