Hit a Pot Hole on Fri coming up to Owler Bar from Fox House in Derbyshire, it was bad enought to trigger the G sensor in my Dash Cam and archive the file, I parked up expecting the worse but on initial inspection all seemed ok, until today when I went out to give her a clean and I can see the sidewall starting to bulge, so I have rung the claims company up and got the forms and I am taking it into the dealers tomorrow for them to take a look, I hope I was reasonably fortunate in that it appears to have impacted where a spoke is on the alloy, if it had been mid span I think the alloy would have cracked or even snapped ..

Anyone had any success in claiming off the council, I have put a report in on their website and told them I have video evidence to support it.

See if it's already listed on Fill-That-Hole website.

If so, the council can't wriggle out of it by saying they were unaware of it and they have recent engineer's report saying so.

had to have a new front tyre fitted as the sidewall had started bulging, its also put a flat on the inside of the alloy,£250 all in, which my tyre insurance covers, I have reported it to the council so we will see if it gets fixed soon
