Bit of an upgrade

After a year in my E85 3.0l auto and loving it I've bit the bullet and got an E89

It's a 28i auto on a 66 plate. Having the Z4 meant my bike wasn't getting used anywhere near as much as it should have to justify the cost of it so that's gone aswell.

Here it is...

Looks very smart. I do like the shape of the E89. Just the right time of year to buy.

Can't beat a white E89 IMHO (biased aswell). That must be one of the last registered; never seen an E89 on a '66' plate.

Any issues with the (in)famous 326M wheels?

very nice😁..definitely right for owning it at the right time…had mine for a year and been to the Cotswolds, York and have booked Wales for this July through the snowdonia park….can’t wait

As for the best colour messages……think mine is a contender for the best…

Only picked it up this morning, but the pothole i hit about 90 seconds after leaving the garage will test them.
The alloys need a refurb (negotiated money off for that) so any damage will become apparent when they eventually get stripped back.

oh yes my friend….avoid them like the plague!!!!!. I drive these days like I’m drunk😂

White isn't a colour it's just the primer :poke: .

That's why all the other colours cost additional whereas "white" is free

There fixed that for you. No need for thanks

Mineral Grey is a lovely colour (again I'm biased as I have an F33 in it), but Alpine White just suits the E89 IMHO. It accentuates the multiple swage lines as the light casts shadows over them. I know I'm a sad git but I have spent many hours studying these things, usually when pis*ed admittedly!

Not anymore - grey is free on loads of cars and Peugoet go mad with yellow on the 208 and orange on the 2008

Indeed Sean; our last Skoda was solid blue, which was the only 'no cost' colour
