Hi, Im new, I am not an owner but want to try and help my sister in law sell her Z4 basically my brother died in june and it was his car, we tried through autotrader but didn't have much luck, my thinking is that the type of car that it is may be better served sold via a more knowledgable source / specialists. I'm aware that there is a selling page here but im not really up with the spec of the car so didn't want to waste peoples time, im just after a little advice on any better ways to sell. Its a 3.0si sport coupe by the way
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear your news.

Some of the members here might be able to help you out by providing the spec details etc of your car. They'll need the number plate though.

What age/mileage/condition is the car? At the right price, I'm sure you'd be able to sell it on here :)

Its an 06 with 62'000 miles, in excellent condition he was a proper petrol head and took very good care with every car he ever had, even to an obsessive level at times, which im sure isn't new to some folk here

Sorry to hear your news. If this isn't the car where there was an attempted theft you're the second person to come on the forum after the death of an owner. So sad and I hope we can help.

With the VIN number it's possible to list all the known factory options. If you can post the number on here someone will get that for you. You'll find it on the bottom of the windscreen on the passenger side. Don't post the whole number, just the last 7 digits. The whole number will look something like WABCD92000AB12345.

Right ok i'll look for the number then, no im not the same person.
I think my brother may have even been member of this forum, he used lots of forums for cars etc
Just checked he was member

I too would like to extend my sympathy to you all at this difficult and sad time. It goes without saying that we'll all do what we can to help you sell the car.

Really sorry to hear about your loss.

This place is definitely the best place to sell. I found pistonheads and autotrader useless.

So young :(

To my last post, if the car is in Teesside, I think there are other members close by who would help with pics, checking the car and getting it advertised on here

Folks, any volunteers in the area?

Sorry to hear of your sad news

Best of luck with the sale I'm sure people on here will be very helpful

I know someone has already mentioned it, but please feel free to post or PM me the VIN number and I am happy to use the decoder to print off the build sheet for the full option list. I can then pop it on the forum and between us I'm sure we can advise you as much as possible about the price etc. Hope this helps...

Very sorry to hear of your sad loss. I'm just down the road in Darlington and would be happy to help you if you need it.
