Bit of advice getting these retaining pins out

Just diagnosing the squeel of the allfather and found this pin loose have ordered a new backing plate but I cant seem to get onto the other pin even with my 1/4 inch set up as the wheel hub is in the way any sneaky tips to getting these retaining pins out :)

Use one of the holes in the hub to pass through to the retainer, press it in and quarter turn to lock it in on the backplate. Thats of course if the hole hasn't rusted out and preventing the pin to snap into place. If that is the case a small nut and bolt can be used as the retainer pin.

yeah it rusted out having already ordered a new backing plate just going to install that, had to cut it out mind, and imagine will have to cut new one as don't want to mess with the hubs aha video helped though, thank you
