ive been searching online, due to z4 not being here, as to how many abs sensors are fitted to the car

e85
2.0l

got a call that the abs light came on when daughter was driving it just now, had a google and cant find the answer but can see them for sale in singles, pairs and 4s

Each wheel has its own speed sensor if I'm not mistaken, but as above you really need to run the codes to see what's causing it.

I had an ABS and DSC light come on, turned out to be a bad alternator rather than anything directly on the ABS circuit.

Nothin but fun these Z's then.

I have a code reader but it's only a £20 amazon one. I used it before on the car and all it found was a misfire on cyl 4.

If you're picking the 107's up Wednesday and the lights still on you can use my reader. It's not much fancier than yours I suspect but it's picked up everything; including resetting airbag lights that I've needed to date. I had the abs lights coming and going intermittently, codes 5e21 and 5e24 relating to ABS pressure sensors. Located a couple on eBay for pennies, swapped them over and no errors since. I'll share the product link with you if it's the same codes you're experiencing :thumbsup:

I just called my daughter to check re the lights and I'm told its not just the abs light

Runflat tyre light
handbreak light
abs light
and she thinks the speedo isn't working properly, but she's been in London crawling along in traffic.

I'm guessing the more lights the worse it is.

What code reader is it m8, I may need to invest in one asap

No idea. I get the garage to do any dirty work.

If it's the pump the car will be off the road for a few days until the pump comes back.

I had the brake fluid changed at the same time.

I had lights Runflat, Handbrake, and ABS. cant remember what code it brought up but turned out to be sensors on servo, was not sure which one was at fault but replaced both for little money of ebay.
Easy job took about 20 min and did not have to bleed the system.
Probably worth a shot prior to looking at ABS unit.
