Bit cool tonight..

That’s far too cold for me to even think about having the roof down :cry:

I always have a mini heart attack every time the temp dips below 3 degrees and the car beeps at me!
 
Id happily swap you :cry: Just arrived on site & it's not nice :(

Absolutely Baltic this morning!!! Yet its meant to be 5deg tomorrow. Was reading -5 this am thats a 12deg shift in 24 hours...
 
If it's that cold, does it mean the roads are slippier, thus less wear on tyres when drifting? :evil:

I'm so bored of winter now.. need excuses to drive!

The fine smear of washing up liquid on the window tops meant I could at least get in :)
(Now cleaned off :thumbsup:)
I know Gummi pflege is maybe the answer but doesn't seem to work for me

So that how you do it - first experience of frosted windows on the E89 last night

Maybe not for the purist as I've heard that washing up liquid/vaseline can affect the rubber
But after talking to an elastomerics guy at work (rubber expert didn't sound right :)) he assures me that it would take ages of constant contact - which is why I wipe it clean once I've opened it
 
I always get concerned when I see some of the temperatures in the Highlands as it gets to the point where antifreeze starts to become ineffective in its usual diluted state.

50/50 antifreeze and water should be good down to -30c and a bit more? Plus, in dilutions of upto about 65%, it performs a lot better than if it's neat.
