Bird Strike

German car - if he was travelling autobahn speeds then, maybe, I guess. Though I’m pretty sure if that had happened to me I’d have crashed

If you look at the headrest there’s no head shape shadow in the splatter, same on the seat base. I don’t think there was a driver sat in that car when it happened.

That's nothing, I was driving last night , roof down past some trees and Bang, WTF I thought. Bloody great big bird shite right on the windscreen, in my line of sight

I was out for a blast in this one summers evening back in 2006 just before I sold it. I hit a female pheasant with the osf suspension at about 70mph....not funny ! Ripped the brake line out of the caliper, bent the bottom wishbone and smashed the cycle wing and headlight to pieces. I was only wearing a T-shirt and was covered in debris including blood, guts, feathers and egg yolk ! Good job I had a full face helmet on or I reckon it may have been curtains :(

I think he would have “ducked” fairly quickly!

I would certainly have needed to clean the driver's seat too. :o

Lol! Saw the first pic and immediately though "How slow must he have been going to have a strike from the rear like that?"

I remember when they were state of the art !
For certain tho, mobile phones have change more radically than the Porsche design.

Wow, that is a serious mess!

Maybe I was lucky when a pheasant hitch-hiked on my 1st Coupe!
