i live somewhere that has more than enough magpies/crows all of whome seem to do turds that would make a rotwiler wince.

4 on my car yesterday over the time it was in the car park.

it took 20 mins to scrub the stuff off. autoglym shampoo and a bug sponge wouldnt touch it,.

so what can you use to get the crap off?

Autoglym intensive tar remover. Remember to re add protection to your paintwork after washing though, it strips all protection away.
I know a lot of people swear by tardis but I have never used it.

I soak them with QD and then power wash them off...

If you get the bomb before it goes like concrete, quick detailer can work with mf cloth.

As long as it 's not to old I find water and a sponge genraly works a treat. Must be eating glue up your way. :roll:

I normally just cover them with a detailing spray, leave a few minutes and either wipe off, or power washer off...

having a decent wax on the paint can help too.... if you leave the crap too long it will damage your paint.... :wink:

I use a roll of duct tape,place the roll of tape over the S**t & fill it with hot water. Softens it & no need for scrubbing & damaging paint.

I find if you soak a piece of kitchen roll and lay it over the crap, leave for about 20 mins and it wipes off really easy.
The biggest problem is the dents left in the bonnet by her stiletto shoes !!
