Binding rear brakes

Evening all. My e85 rear brakes seem to bind/seize when parked up for about a week, even with handbrake off and left in gear. Any advice on solving this?

Are they bone dry when you park up. I used to get this occasionally after I washed the Zed. Now I always take her around the block to warm the brakes before I put her away.

Most likely a sticking calipar. They can get very dirty and corroded so a good clean up will probably sort things, just watch you dont damage the rubber seal around the calpar

First thing I would try is greasing the slide pins. I use Castrol red rubber grease, you can get it in 50g Vaseline type tins.

If it was binding, it would be noticeably hotter after a run, and the pads would wear quicker.

If you leave them wet and park up the metallic elements on the pad surface can rust and bond to the disc.

Noticed a binding caliper on Kev's last week when changing his springs, the pas on the binding side were almost shot but the other side was like new.
