Bimmercode vs Bimmerlink vs ?

Tell me about these pls

Can i read error codes with them? e.g. roof codes

Can i code a new battery with them?

Any alternatives worth considering? Have already got the Veepeak dongle. iPhone only not Android

Bimmercode is just for getting the Zed to do what it should have done when it left the factory (beep when the alarm is set, properly park the wipers) bimmerlink is more of a code reader

Both are pretty good options for iPhone & do many functions. They only fall down when you need something that's digging deep, but that's true of most of the cost effective options. Bimmercode writes stuff / Bimmerlink reads stuff.

you can code & also register a new battery with bimmercode.
you can read codes thrown by the roof with bimmerlink

You have the iPhone & the dongle, so it's what.... £70 or so for the pair?

I don't think there is much to beat that for anywhere near that price.

You can not code or register battery with bimmercode. Bimmerlink does that.

Personally, I think Protool is a better option.

I have all three... protool, bimmerlink, and bimmercode. I prefer protool.

And iPhone is for old ppl or tweens :lol:
