Bimecc Spacers

JackGeeza said:
Hello, I ordered a set of Bimecc spacers the other day, under the impression that they would work. This is my first project car so I'm not that clued up yet. I got 5x120 / 72.6 spacers after a looking up the specs for my 2004 Z4 2.2i that said this was correct. However, they do not appear to fit as there are no threads for the wheel's bolts. So, am I missing something or have I just ordered the wrong set?

Thanks in advance!

Hi mate,

No thread on spacers, you may need longer bolts though.

Yeah the problem I'm having. The OEM bolts have nothing to thread on to. But the spacer can bolt on just fine to the hub. Was just wondering if I bought the wrong spacers or not?

Or is there something else I need to buy/thread them myself with a threading tool?

No just buy longer wheel bolts (add the thickness of the spacer to current bolt length) - the spacers don't bolt to the hub, they're sandwiched between the wheel and the hub. If the spacers had threaded holes you'd struggle to get a tight fit between hub/spacer/wheel
