Hi,

I am new to the forum. Quick introduction: I am german living in Switzerland and just got a Z4 :roundel: coming from a tuned Audi TT .

My Z4 has the M-System fitted but I am not happy with the ride. It's too unbalanced :headbang: hard on bumps and too soft in the corners. I am looking to replace the shocks with Bilstein B6's to keep the lowered ride height of 15mm. Is anyone on that setup or can give me some advice on how to use different parts?

Thanks and best regards

Hi,

it's non RFT and I compare it to a Eibach Pro System (Sport shocks & Eibach Springs), wich was a lot tighter in turns but more comfortable on bumps. Maybe my shocks are done as well? The car has 37.000 miles on it.

I'll upload some today 8)

Hi and welcome :)

This post doesn't help you, but I'd also be interested in the answer to your question! Most of the time I'm happy with the ride/handling of the Z4, but uprated shocks are something I'd consider buying if I knew there was a sizeable benefit to make them worthwhile buying.

I almost bought Koni adjustable shocks recently via the forum but not in a situation to buy at the moment (plus another forum member bought them anyway!).
