Probably next to zero chance of anyone else having experience with Dinan springs for Z4 M, but here goes.
Recently picked up a super nice 07 M Roadster. Previous owner but B6 struts/shocks on it probably less than 500 miles ago, stock springs used. Rides and handles real nice, I would echo others that have said it's a good move from a tired old stock suspension.
I have the Dinan springs that were on my M coupe before I switched it over to B16/PSS10. I can't find any spec on these springs anymore, I probably need to contact Dinan to see if anyone there can find record of them My recollection is that they gave a small drop, like 3/8" or 10mm, there about, which I liked on my coupe. Judging ride when I had them on is tough, I had them with Ground Control struts/Koni Yellow shocks, single adjustable, and I never thought the ride was that much better than stock. I thought maybe it was more due to the strut/shock than the springs, but I never experimented with it too much.
Question is, assuming the Dinan spring rate isn't too much more than stock, just a slightly lower ride height, anyone see an issue with running them on the B6s? With that about of drop, am I going to be hitting bump stops a lot? I have my B16/PSS10 setup lower than what these springs will achieve and no issues there, but I do understand there are great differences internally between B6 and B16.
