Thanks

Cars on 80k now so springs and dampers are on my list having just done the wishbones, drop links and tie rods. Was looking at the B12 kit but these B4's seem to be a lot cheaper? Car is a 3.0si SE, and I'd be looking for near OEM replacement, maybe with a drop in ride height similar to the M-Sport set up.
Thanks for that, saw your reply with the links to the Bilstein website too which I missed the first time, those are pretty helpful. Top mounts I'd be doing at the same time as this, along with the rear bushes and front ARB bushes. I wouldn't be looking to go much lower than standard, I believe the SE is slightly higher as standard? So probably just a match to the M-Sport suspension would be ideal or as mentioned above 15mm lower than that would be fine.markeg said:bemo said:Apologies for the hijack! There are kits for the E85 as well as E86 (and also the E89). As mentioned above the B4 are replacements for OEM and will allow for some lowering, depending on the springs chosen - you may want to look at kits such as this. If you are refreshing your shocks, you should probably look also at top mounts?
