So tomorrow is B12 Fitting day,

The guys at BMW Surrey are doing for the job for me and i cant wait for the finished result. (I just hope my car still goes down the slope to the garage)

The car is nearly at 110k now so im thinking the B12 kit along with new top mounts should make a huge difference to the car.

Will get it alligned a few weeks after at FCM in bristol again, as i was extremly happy with the service i received last time.

Will report back tomorrow once i have collected the car? :driving:

Let us know how it goes and feels!

If you don't mind me asking, how much are you being charged for the shocks to be replaced?

I just want a ballpark as I am thinking of doing something similar. Thanks!

Not sure yet

I have used BMS loads before though and been suprised with how little they charge for the quality of work, so i know i won't be ripped off.

ill report back when i get the invoice.

I would expect 2-3 hours labour approx though

Cool, looking forward to some before and after pics :)

Ill take some pics tonight before it goes in so you get a rough idea, car is filthy atmo though :(

I hope it isnt too low otherwise standard springs will have to go back on.

Kit now fitted and the car feels amazing, so much nicer than stock. The old shocks we looking pretty tired at 100k as well so a worthwhile upgrade.

This has been my favourite mod to date so far.

Also fitted my M steering Wheel too which looks great :)

Ill try take some later if i remember ben g

Not much lower than stock to be honest but it sits really well i think and no issues with rubbing or speed bumps as of yet. :)

Unrelated to your suspension upgrade, but I have booked my car in for some work at BMS based on your recommendation. Lee seemed very helpful on the phone, so thanks hopz!

They are excellent mate, really know what they are talking about and charge fair prices for the work they carry out.

That looks great

What sort of drop is that?It looks similar to mine. But mine has been up and down on the coliovers. I have no idea how much lower than stock mine is any more.

I think Mat it is about 10-20mm lower than standard sport suspension but im not 100% if im honest.

Its ideal for me as i still wanted to be able to clear speed bumps etc with ease which it does.

The Bilsten B8 shock and Eibach spring work perfectly together though and im loving the way the car drives now, i hope to do another track day in the next few months and im hoping the car will preform well :)
