I’m returning my Alpina to Factory spec, so will be removing the B12 Pro kit over the next couple of days. It handles brilliantly, but being an Alpina I just want it standard.

This is from a car that does a limited amount of mileage in dry weather and has always been garaged.

I’ve had a quick peek at the rear shocks (in situ) and there appears to be zero rust or corrosion on them, expecting the fronts to be more or less the same.

I’ve ordered new ‘everything’ for the Alpina, spring plates, top mounts, rubbers the lot, so will be able to remove this kit completely built up with top mounts still in place.

I’ll go back through the MOT history, but I think this has only done about 6k miles since being fitted, it had new top mounts fitted when installed also.

This will be the easiest suspension upgrade ever - remove your struts and springs and replace directly with this - no faffing.

Will fit all ‘non-M’ E85/E86 variants.

I’m going to say £600 on the basis that I’m expecting them to be in tip-top condition - they are physically, but I mean cosmetically as well.

I’ll adjust the price downwards if they’re not as good cosmetically as I expect once removed

Photo’s to follow.

Location is BS30 6HJ

So please correct me if I’m wrong … Bilstein b8 plus eibach 25mm springs = B12 kit ?

When did you buy the kit ?

Thanks

Previous owner bought the kit and had it fitted. I know when it was fitted, but need to double check the mileage history to determine accurately how many miles completed.

I’m out at the moment, so will update thread later today.

This is the B12 Pro Kit for E85/E86 - there’s only one version of the Pro kit for 85/86 - it’s is B8 shocks, springs are Eibach, I’ll need to confirm kit number later today

I would also like to express an interest.
So does it sit 25mm lower than sport suspension and Alpina std height?

Quick update and in the middle of removal. Top mounts on the rear are actually rather excellent uprated pro-flex ones

A tiny bit of cosmetic corrosion near the bottom, but going to happen to new ones in no time.

Given the overall excellent condition, it looks like someone re-used the original bump stops!
Very cheap and ten minutes work to fit new though. Certainly not worth haggling over.

Yes, seems like a slightly odd choice, but I suspect the garage has just said they’re perfectly fine so re-use them.

Fully functional

Got a bit distracted and have been claying the inside of the alloys, thought I might as well whilst they are off

Might press on with removing the fonts in a bit or might do it tomorrow.

Msport sits 15mm lower than non-Msport, this sits 25-30MM lower than Non-Msport, so circa 10-15mm lower than Msport. 25mm lower than Msport would be very low

No worries re the off topic… looks lovely that.

Didn’t get much spanner time today (not due to claying the front alloys though) :poke:

I have removed one side, will clean properly tomorrow, literally wiped once with a cloth.

No visible corrosion, lost a little paint where the drop link is tightened but almost definitely unavoidable. Better pics of both sides tomorrow

New top mounts, but original spring plates by the look of it.

Evening, apologies to anyone waiting for photos, both fronts now off picture below.

I would be happy to accept £500 if collected in person from my home address, would consider courier at your expense.

I’ve got a lot on at the moment, do don’t really want to be driving far to meet up.

I’ll leave these advertised here only for a couple of days.

First refusal to Bodyboarder
